Just finished the chapter on perseverance. Best definition of perseverance I've ever read: "outlasting whatever is getting in the way.". The quote: "I believe in the sun even when it is not shining. I believe in love even when feeling it not. I believe in God even when he is silent." -An inscription on a wall in a cellar on Cologne, Germany, where Jews hid from the Nazis. How powerful is that? Well, to me it was.

Excellent book, really wish I had my journal at the moment-definitely wouldn't be this far if I had, so many things to reflect on and comment on. Recommend it for those looking for a retreat inside themselves while searching for God or looking to reconnect.
