maybe its just me, but i feel like there wasnt a need for clarification because the “not a single one” in the first sentence…the writing is hurting my brain a bit. how is this 731 pages

i thought loren had powers but then she doesnt but then she has a magical tattoo that tells her when her blood sugar is low. and then her friend got taken by people who were actually after her as collateral? but then they still go to school and their friend gets taken and acting like nothing happened
