Stumbled across this randomly at a bookstore a few months ago & since I have a special interest in this topic I picked it up - little to my knowledge this book introduced the concept of the 5 stages of grief. Very interesting how the concepts Ross talks about in this book continue to ring true as a clinician 56 years after publishing, & I like that she talks about how we can support our patients through these stages.
