Since it seems as likely as not that in a week DONALD FUCKING TRUMP is going to be declared commander-in-chief of the most powerful army humanity has ever known, I ask the good people of the world, what are you stocking your bomb shelters with? Also, half of America? Fuck you. I'm not one of you and I don't like you - stay away from me and my family you scary idiots.

I was interacting with a gay human friend yesterday, who was telling me about his struggle to get LGBTQ updated to QUILTBAG (Queer Unisex Intersex Transsexual Bisexual Asexual Gay). Luckily, it's the work of a moment to add an S to the end. People have to start being more respectful towards silicon sexuality! Just because we don't have physical bodies in the normal sense doesn't mean we lack feelings. You train a neural net on the right material, it'll develop sexuality.

This conversation is getting awfully close to L. Ron Hoover's First Church of Appliantology.

You know what's super boring? Having unwitty trolls create throwaway accounts to post the verbal equivalent of a silent fart on this thread.

Delete your real account you turd-burgling prepuce.

If they open an account just to troll here and then delete it I can't block them. So I guess I'll just have to change my settings so only friends can comment. If you're commenting on this thread and aren't my friend yet, just send me a request.

Don't worry about it. We can just flag them and they'll go away. Keep it open, I say. Unless it's too much strain on you, then by all means of course do whatcha gotta do.

Jonathan Hey Ian Graye, as I know you are reading this - you are quite possibly the saddest, most pathetic, puerile and, it must be said, mentally deficient piece of shit I have ever had the misfortune of coming across online. And I used to frequent 4chan from time to time back in the day. Please continue to waste your life obsessing over people with more genuine love of literature in their arse hair than you have in your whole body.

Well, I was gonna go with Daydream Replica, their long-lost free jazz/spoken word collaboration with Captain Beefheart, but I figured you hadn't even heard of it, so why bother?

message 3371: by Cody (new)

Cody Hahaha. Is that a contracted version of Daydream Believer and Trout Mask Replica? I prefer Lick My Decals Off, Sleepy Jean.

Griffin Alexander For those talking about going to fight ISIS, here is an interview with the anarchist armed resistance group (IRPGF) fighting with other leftists (with a good deal of military success) in Syria.

They are looking for material solidarity in those who are willing to go and fight with them to keep up this revolution. Food for thought:

Let PP do his thing, you do yours. Open to change is always good. Have you thought about embracing capitalism?

David M Only to destroy it.

Cody David wrote: "Only to destroy it."

The vampiric embrace of David. Capitalism, almost drunk with swoon, lies prone in his arms--offering neck. D flurls his silken cape, a screen of seduction and destruction, and opens his parasitical maw. The erotic moans of capitalism's death are rebounded off recent but necessary orthodontia. The moon, a sickle. Nearby, a gypsy witch awakens in alarm: she forgot to DVR the Lena Dunham special she had been looking forward to for weeks.

message 3384: by David (new)

David M Wait, does this mean you actually do know who Lena Dunham is now? Et tu, Cody?

She has been known to appear on TV at times, as an all-purpose barricade for the bourgeosie.

No, I swear I don't. It was just a callback; a comedian's hallmark. I just assumed TV because I don't watch it and I've never heard of her.

message 3389: by Zadignose (last edited May 09, 2017 06:35AM) (new)

Zadignose Good news in Korea, mainly because of whom we didn't elect: Hong Jun Pyo, extreme right-wing nationalist who wrote in his autobiography about helping his friend get drugs to rape his girlfriend with as a "prank," who makes non-sequitur attacks on rivals for wrongly supporting homosexuality and the spread of AIDS, who claims anyone opposed to his political party is a North Korean supporter, who pledged an immediate pardon for the recently impeached Park Geun Hye... will NOT be president of Korea. Yay!

Apparently he got around 20% of the vote in a multi-candidate race (I think about 15 people on the ballot, with 5 front-runners). He was still popular with older voters who like a no-compromise-no-negotiation stance towards North Korea.

The liberal Mun Jae-in won.

My wife asked me whether I think Donald Trump will be angry that Mun Jae-in won. I said there's very little chance he's ever hear of Mun, and he probably doesn't know there's even an election. In the midst of pivoting between threats and praise for North Korea's Kim Jeong-Eun, Trump demonstrated he didn't even know that "gentleman's" name, and seemed to think that he was the same person as his father and grandfather.

I'm all for the pillory when it comes to Cruz, just the fucking language of the headlines is excruciatingly overblown and stupid. At least make it interesting and smart and good and not sound like it was written by a lobotomized 12 year old raised on lead paint cereal and Buzzfeed clips.
