In the second book in the Softwire series, the kids ended up getting stained. That means that they can be tracked anywhere they go. Now in the fourth book the people are putting traces on our main characters because of the staining. Now they're able to track down the kids and put that on them which would make them explode like one kid from before. The author had something from the 2nd book be an obstacle in the 4th.

I think that the story's main character Johnny has all of his decisions made about all of his friends. Switzer wasn't really his friend, but he made the decision for his sister and he's trying to do the right thing for his friends Theodore and Max. Johnny's decisions have all changed because of what ended up happening at the beginning when everything changed.

Major plot twist, in my book. The author changed the whole book. The final book and you learn that what you thought happened it actually didn't happen, and the author just changed the entire story. The book connects to all the other books. The first one with the ship everything ended up being different and what a person in the second book named Toll ended up telling the truth about the beginning, but no one believed.

My book really did continue the story. It started right into the action. I thought something was going wrong, but it was just something with his sister that continued from the last book. It already makes sense and I think that the author is foreshadowing that Johnny will become a Space Jumper or a Tonat because Space Jumpers gave him something. Orbis 4 makes me think about what's in space. The author wondered too.
