I am listening to the audio version of this book. It is not read by DMX, but by a voice actor who uses his cadence and voice. Listening at 1.5x speed, I have to say, is delightful. It’s cool to hear about Earl Simmons’ life, and to learn about how he became who he is. This book was released in 2003, arguably at the height of his success… I would love to hear how the next 18 years of his life went in his words
