gosh so good. Wish I could read it faster honestly... not because I'm done with it but just the content is so good! Ridiculous that our brains take time to process 🙄☺️

Convicted of my need to continually dwell in God's presence and present my requests to Him if only for the sheer purpose of drawing near to His heart and deepening my relationship with Him. I am the only one who puts parameters on my prayer...I can pray anytime, anywhere, words or no words, peace or chaos, short or long...He is listening.

So convicting....gosh.

"We can by Holy Spirit inspired thinking help to make our minds pure sanctuaries in which God will be pleased to dwell." p.33

"The best way to control our thoughts is to offer the mind to God in complete surrender." p. 41

and the best for last:

"Praying is never an acceptable substitute for obedience." p.48

lovely so far. A very convicting reminder of the sacredness of living and how daily moments are spaces for prayer and communion with God.
