Question- Why is Stooley telling Skeeter that Stuart, Skeeter's boyfriend, was heartbroken after his break-up with his previous girlfriend???

T- I noticed that the concept of age has been reoccuring. Miss. Skeeter repeats how old she is to prove her maturity, but her mom doesn't trust her entirely.

"... there's no difference in those government laws and Hilly building Aibileen a bathroom in the garage..." Mrs. Skeeter is realizing what kind of a world she lives in. The Jim Crow laws were begun by people like Mrs. Hilly (building a seperate bathroom for her slave)

F- "...that's when I knew I was good at making children feel proud of themselves..." -Aibileen
I like this quote because it shows how Aibileen can seek out the good in her tough situation (working as a maid at 15 years old).

Ask!- Minny mentions she has a large bruise on her thigh while she's picking up clothes off of Miss Celia's bedroom floor, how'd she get it?

I- After Treelore died, Aibileen was depressed and stayed in bed for a whole 3 months. Meanwhile, Minny visited her each day. I infer that Abileen tried to hang herself because a rope under her bed was mentioned.
