good read so far, but haven't found any characters that I like

It's pretty good so far! I am enjoying the plot developing and how the back story is revealed and even though some of the tropes are cliches, they're written well, so I am enjoying it. As of now, Victor seems like he's just jealous of Eli and he is dealing with it in the most terrible way possible, but the reviews tell me there's more so I'm excited to see how Schwab adds more depth to these characters.
