Nick and his friend collided during his soccer game. His tournament is in one week and he has to stay in the hospital for 3 weeks! And his parents just recently decided that the're going to get into a divorce. So Nick is going through some difficult situations right now in his life.

Right now in Booked by Kwame Alexander, Nick's mom and dad decided to split apart. His mom is moving away for her job. She's going to come back and visit Nick every other weekend. I don't quite know why they broke up yet though.
