I have to say, that was a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. The twists and turns felt warranted, and the characters I felt finally evolved. Everyone got their happy ending and I am glad for that. Now, onto something else.

Wow what a rollercoaster. This is actually good??? I thought only the first book would have that luxury but no. Im not done yet but holy. Still one last hurdle to overcome but Cassial is finished. Now, Duwar remains.

Never thought Id say this but Im really warming up to this. There is hope, in the form of the Faithful whom Rafaela can hopefully free. And Duncan’s rebirth through the power of the Creator. And the romance is nice. Granted, I’m biased where Erix and Robin are concerned, but Im warming up to the throuple idea

Oh that’s interesting. Throuple? Honestly there’s more pressing matters to worry about, like Cassial is the host of Duwar now and Althea, his captive. I dont see how they win this. But I guess we’ll see

The Nephilim are sus as fuck. It’s very clear that they’ll be taking on our role as villain, as if Duwar wasn’t a problem enough.
