Also— I’m a little confused why at a party where the median age is probably 60, they are auctioning off a manga comic and no one in the crowd acted like that was an odd thing to bid on or for this woman to be in possession of?? Tbh seems like an over sight none of these characters asked “what’s manga?” — but maybe that’s just me???
