I am not happy with this book so far but I'm trying to stick with it. I like how beginning authors are told over and over and over again by editors and agents that no one will buy your story if you don't start it where the action begins . . . then you have books like this where the dude spends the first 79+ pages explaining why the 80's were soooooooooooo cool before any action of any sort starts in earnest >:(
