I'm going to admit that it has cute parts in it. The pacing is really pushing my patience, though. :')

This has been a journey. (Yeah, almost done reading this book.)

The plot is starting to plateau. It’s not very exciting right now. Things are just happening.

WELL, THAT was one heck of a well developed scene. I am seeing a lot of telling that picked up around the fourth chapter. It's getting very day-to-day everyday life-ish. It would've been nice to see more description in between... or just a time skip altogether. I am reflecting on this because I am also prone to writing like this...! (Slice of life tends to read like that.)

(Well, oops...! Btw, the characters in this book are quirky and adorable. I haven't read a friends-to-lovers book or story yet, so... I'm aiming to understand it as I read along :) )
