Out of 10, I would give this book a 8 because it is very action packed, but there are also boring parts where nothing is going on. I would recommend this book to 12-18 year olds because it is a tough book to understand and it has some stuff that wouldn't be appropriate for younger kids. 75 pages

The conflict in this book is that there are people stuck in a maze and they need to figure out a way to get out. My reading goal for this week is 80 pages.

I wouldn't like to be a character in this story because I wouldn't want to be stuck in a maze after being brainwashed. I want to be free and have space to run and places to go and not be stuck in one single spot. Also, if I was stuck in a maze with creatures in it I would probably die and I wouldn't like that.

So far in the book, Thomas has entered the maze without anybody's permission and soon realizes that there are these creatures that try and kill him. While he is in the maze he finds a huge clue on how to escape the maze. My reading goal has been 75 pages. I have been reaching this goal by reading 20 pages on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then reading 15 pages on Thursday. My new goal is 80 pages a week.

I can relate to the main character of my book. The main character, Thomas, gets put in a situation where he doesn't know what's going on or where he is. I can relate to this because whenever I'm on a new sports team or new club I don't really know what's going on. My goal for next week is 70 pages.

The authors purpose of writing this book is to entertain the reader. He is trying to fill the reader with excitement and suspense. He wants the reader to read more and more because it's so exciting. My goal for next week is to read 70 pages.

So far, Thomas has been practically brain washed and sent to this camp where the only way you can get out is if you beat the maze that's surrounding the camp. Thomas meets all of the other people who are in this place and begins become friends with them. They are planning a way to get past the maze and see what's on the other side. My goal is to read 70 pages this week.
