I - I can infer that there was a lot of secrecy surrounding the massacre. A lot of meeting and information were kept private from the public.

W - The writer keeps the chapters short and includes a lot of page breaks. He jumps from concept to concept but in a surprisingly organized way. He also explains the massacre from many different people's point of view.

Vocabulary - acrid: having an irritatingly strong and unpleasant taste or smell

Acrid was used to describe the smell of smoke during the massacre.

T - A theme in the book right now is family. After the shooting, all the children were reuniting with their parents and spending a lot of time with each other. They knew they were lucky to still have their family.

P - A kid named Patrick was shot, paralyzing the right side of his body. He dragged himself over to a window to jump. Paramedics saw him and are making their way over to him. I think the paramedics will be able to catch him before he hits the ground.

S - Eric and Dylan's personalities have been explained to the readers. Their initial plan for how they would carry out the attack was much more brutal then what ended up happening. Their bombs did not ignite, so they entered the school with guns and a lot of amo. Within minutes, large groups of first responders were gathered outside.

I picture a high school prom because Dylan and his friends are getting ready for their final high school prom. They're currently eating at a restaurant.
