For the Hermeticist, the primary virtue is the cultivation of "eusebeia": the attitude of profound respect, awe, and love for the things that are. This is not so much a doctrine to be followed about what is good and true, so much as devoting oneself to experiencing and recognising these in life, and so to know the beauty of goodness and truth itself. To open one's heart is the only prayer required.
