So far this heroine is a white savior who thinks the Chippewa women she works with have to just "get over" their negative reactions to police. She also is a grown woman who thinks she's going to hell for looking at a man's backside, and then has to guiltily unload her conscience on one of the aforementioned women, who dgaf. Off to a great start.
