the cover? unhinged. the writing? so over the top its in the stratosphere. a rapscallion streetrat heroine who can dual wield a sword and dagger with lethal accuracy and minimal training, a cartoonishly evil queen who “burns peasants for fun,” armies of ineffectual henchmen who attack the heroine one at a time so she can maximize her dramatic attacks, and multiple “irritatingly handsome” men. *chefs kiss*
