So after Aelin went on and on throughout the start of the book about how she needs to save a certain character, and risks her life to save that character. When this other character shows up at a completely random moment Aelin completely ignores, dismisses and even sends the character that she saved and risked her life for away... WTF?!?!

Feeling slightly ticked off at the fact that a certain character has to be kept alive for plot line purposes while logic and tactics indicate that he should be put down at the first chance that our protagonists get.

Have heard mixed reviews about this book...Heir of Fire surprised me by being a lot better than what I had expected and I am extremely curious as to what fate has in store for our characters! So, we will see how I find this book!!
