Didn't see that coming.

I'm trying to remember that this is a kid's book, but the battle is not leaving me very impressed. :/

I'm mostly focused on this instead of Jurassic Park 2 because the narrator for JP2 is ... interesting (while I appreciate him attempting to sound like Movie Ian, all the characters sound and act like Ian that are male, and POC males are given a stereotypical Hispanic accent, and I just ... I can't right now. @-@).

So I've been slowly chipping away at this and I am SOSOSOSOSOSOSO CLOSE to being done. TToTT

Oh, but good for Dumpy! Best character growth in the series.

Reading with ADHD that has become worse over time in comparison to my childhood and adult years is probably the hardest thing ever. I feel like I'll never finish this book, despite making progress. It's honestly why I started using audiobooks in the first place, because it's so much easier for me to listen and imagine it like a movie while I'm doing other things around me, such as cleaning or working on a puzzle.

Burrowing owls were larger than Barn Owls, and about four times the size of Gylfie.

… what? I’m sorry … what?? 💀😭 Over here making me question how big a burrowing owl is and NO, they are no where near bigger than a barn owl. Like, I always remembered Digger being smaller than Soren, so when I read that, I started crashing.

The book is wrong. They are smaller than barn owls by quite a bit.

Lasky really does love repeating things that she said in earlier chapters. 💀😂

I really did try to finish this tonight 😂

Nyra is apparently dumb and cannot read, unlike the movie version of her 😭
