I think it is crucial for Josh Cameron to know that Molly is his daughter. Josh Cameron is the best basketball player, and Molly is having trouble telling him. The one time Molly had a chance to tell Josh that you are my dad; Josh did not believe her. Molly's mom died, and left her a note that Josh Cameron is your dad. Therefore, Molly is going to show Josh the letter, and it is critical that he believes her.

I think it was funny when Molly was trying to covince to Josh that he was her dad. On page 13 Molly tells Josh "Me telling you that you're dad". This was funny because Josh never knew that Molly was his daughter. Also, Josh's reaction was funny. On page 14 I can infer he said "excuse me" in shock and confusion.
