I I have put this book down more in the past 50ish pages than I have the whole book. What in the world is happening

I'm typically that girl that is trying to guess the ending all the time and thinking ahead but there's someone about this book and the writing where I keep trying to and it almost pulls me back. It yanks me backwards and tells me to be in the here and in the now. I'm loving it!

The guardian... I have theories. Evangeline, I love you. (My niece is also evangeline so I can't help but love her) Odessa, you are like a little doe learning to walk and I love it. I'm confused on what's happening exactly but I'm liking it so far
