I can’t say I enjoyed this book, I suppose that’s not the point though. I would say there is a sizeable climax for a Winton text. It left me pretty haunted to be honest. Goes right down deep into my climate anxiety. I think you should plod along, just make sure you’ve got something upbeat to read after 😥

I think I’ll just plod along with the audio as an aside of reading other stuff. There is something both horrific and meditative about the voice of the narrator. Which I guess is the point.
