W: I noticed in this book that the writer seperated the book into seperate parts. Not very many books seperate into sections. This book is seperated into character's persectives which is interesting.

Connect: this book reminded me of a time where I found a rock with a shell imprint in it. I wondered if it was a fossil or a snail. Even the rock it was in looked strange. This story talks about finding missing dna from a prehistoric human to see if his relative was alive and what life he could of possibly lived.

F: My favorite character in the book right now is Walter. He's my favorite character because he may be a little rude but I think it's funny that he questions everyone. He even crushed people's dreams because of his intense questioning.

P: it's said that they had sent canoes with enough food and water over the ocean and that it has a high chance get off course. From storms and even small waves. I think that the canoes will make it over the ocean because despite the fact that storms and waves are highly likely. Sometimes waves pull you in instead of out too so I think it might help balance the canoes.
