I have not encountered a book that offers so much raw and perforating honesty about what we all, as human beings, are and can do. There are no hands being held or answers given, but what is instilled through Krishnamurti’s writing is a clearer way on how to approach the questions he poses – ones that are absolutely and irrevocably essential for us all to ask.

A wonderful book. “Thought realises that it is limited, and because it is limited, fragmentary, divided, it has created this emptiness, loneliness. Therefore, when it realises this, loneliness is not”

There's such a calmness and clearness to Krishnamurti. This passage in particular about the mind is a good highlight. "...when the mind understands its whole process and so comes to an end, that is, when thinking ceases, then there is creation, and it is that creation which makes us happy. To be in that state of creation is bliss, because it is self-forgetfulness in which there is no reaction as from the self" p. 34
