Ok so Charlie and David have been meeting weekly. She recounts the story of getting setup with her husband, he’s definitely gay, both sterile. He prob goes to meet a man the nights he disappears. While i’m not overly in love w this section of the book i like how it’s flipping bw Charlie’s present and her grandfathers past

I like how all the sections are told in a different way. Currently in 2093 where our narrator is married and the world is very different (we don’t know the gender or name of the narrator). Now reading letters from someone to ‘Peter’; i’m assuming the author is the narrators Grandfather

David’s father’s section of the book saaaad

David fell asleep with the letter from his father which Charles ended up reading. Currently in part 3 which is a first person account from David’s father

David’s been having a love fest with Edward and not rly thought of Charles much. He finally receives a letter from Charles outlining the horrible situation he found himself in with Percival dying trying to save his nephew. He wants to call on David when he returns
