So far, this book has been a good primer to global macroeconomic history. The theories put forth have been pretty commonsensical but upon further scrutiny do not hold up well against / I am not convinced of their ability to explain post-COVID circumstances. Nevertheless, a decent foundation for explaining the global macroeconomy I think.
