ws: I think the author is showing that nick is the 'bigger' person because he agrees to what Amy says, just so he can be in his child's life. he does what he has to do to make sure he is a good father. I think this is important to know about nick

Ws: here the author is showing again, Amy's personally. Amy is pregnant with nicks child & she tells him he has to do certain things, one of them consisting of deleting the book he just wrote

I predict nicks book will 'win' him over. Amy had wrote a book & nick wants his side of the story heard & I think that people will agree with his side

nick is becoming more okay everyday because he is realizing that he has been alone a lot more than he thought in his relationship with amy. nick is finding out who he is

at this point in the book, I visualize Nick feeling sad & alone. other than his wife, he has The Bar. but after they moved, they both only had eachother & now that Amy is missing, nick is probably feeling alone & doesn't know where to turn

we find out both, Nick & Amy lose their jobs before leaving NY. Amy in her diary still claims they're stuck in Missouri, so I predict Amy is still behind the problem that is happening

nick finds himself falling in love with Amy as he is reading the love notes she had written. through the notes, amy had wrote about how her & nicks marriage started to fall apart. she writes about how she isn't sure where she stands with her husband.

I predict Nick will find Amy. even if it's not for awhile because she is leaving notes for him & he has to figure out where she is based on the clues she's leaving in her notes
