The tone feels almost like “Princess Bride.” A whimsical yet grounded adventure. And without the romance. It’s more of the vibe that it feels like you’ve read this a hundred times and it’s still a comfort read despite the fact that you’ve only read it once.

I think part of what makes this series/book so endearing to me is that all the characters are older. Not ancient old but older like me. They aren’t fresh faced kids. They have experience but are still open to learning new things.
