Jayson
Jayson is starting

Notes:
(1) So, this miniseries spins off from the speculative future in "Harley Quinn" #42. I can't tell from reading it whether that was a one-off story or if they planned it as a miniseries teaser and intro from the start. Probably the latter.
- This is a parody or take on the "Mad Max" movies. I've not seen a single one, so all the references will surely go over my head.

Notes:
(1) So, the entire plot of this book is Harley meeting with several former associates to find out if the Joker's alive. Which isn't much of a plot, more plot device to visit older/post-apocalyptic versions of people.
- Because either he's dead and there's no payoff, or he's alive... in which case, then what?
- I will say that there's a fairly surprising twist answer.

Notes:
(1) This is fine, I suppose. It's mostly observational humor. The jokes aren't bad but they don't particularly hit with me.
- The vast majority of the humor here seems to be references to popular TV shows at the time, which are dated now and will only get more so.
- Surprisingly, I got all the "Batman" '66 jokes.
- The non-reference humor is mostly genitalia-related.
