It's been a few years since I last read this book, and I had forgotten just how truly terrible Harry's aunt and uncle are to him. I don't know if it's simply that it's been so long that the memory faded, or if I have a different perspective now that I'm an adult, but sweet zombie Moses, what is the matter with these monsters? Are you really that petty, to terrorize your nephew out of envy (in Petunia's case)? Damn.

I wasn't the biggest fan of "Cursed Child," but it definitely gave me a craving to return to the original series. A re-read is long over-due; let's do this. :)
