The friendship between Amir and Hassan seem mutually benefitial but also toxic at the same time. Both friends fill in voids in eachothers lives that wouldn't be met without eachother. With tensions building in the book between different social groups in the book it's gonna be interesting how this friendship plays out. Amir wants to please his father but will his morales let him?
