Reading this on the Kindle is killing me. I like the story but it's harder for me to gauge progress. It FEELS like I am reading through it quickly each time I sit down with it but because the dang thing is over 500 pages long, my Kindle taunts me by barely budging my % complete. le sigh.

I feel like the book is coming to a head fast but there's still almost half as many pages to go. what a bizarre read so far.
