It's a really interesting, and —unsurprisingly—sometimes challenging read. Catton has such strong, precise word choice that she has me grasping for a dictionary every other page... not to mention the variability in the political beliefs of her characters; so rarely do I have to sit and seriously consider a character's argument outside the context of fictional politics. Loving it!
