Muldoon's been maneuvered into a date with the President's daughter (and is feeling a bit betrayed by Joan), Mary Lou Starrett has found a new friend named Ihbraham and an assault rifle in her trunk (it's vanished) and there a nice secondary story about WWII as well. I really like this book.

This book is both about Mike Muldoon and his attempts to romance Joan DeCosta and the spiral around which poor Sam Starrett and the love of his life, Alyssa Locke, seem to swirl around - which will lead into 'Gone Too Far' the next book in the series.. .Mary Lou brought her situation on herself. I have no sympathy for her at all.
