Chapters 33-36:

This past 10 chapters have been insane. Possibly the craziest 200 pages in fantasy book history (obv my opinion)

Ohhh how I am glad I stumbled upon this glorious series.

Chapters 29-32:

HOLY SHIT

Chapters 21-24:

Dragons dragons dragons. I only needed one, but now I get plenty.
Also, it’s been a while since I’ve expressed my distaste for Malta… she’s warming to me. I can’t believe it!

Chapters 17-20:

Dragons are such fascinating creatures, I’m so glad they aren’t actually real.

Also why are royalty usually portrayed as precious. Why can’t I have a badass Prince like the last series.

Chapters 13-16:

Omg and now the connections to the Farseer Trilogy finally appear!!!
And not how I expected 🤔🤔

Also Wintrow is down bad, poor boy.

Chapters 9-12:

This has been much kinder to read. Instead of changing perspectives countless times a chapter, we get a great amount of time with each person, so you can properly sink into the story.

And what’s better than reading about characters relationship problems? Not a lot of

Chapters 5-8:

The start of this book trumps the other two. Am I upset that we haven’t even glanced at one of the storylines? No. Because it’s literally the next chapter.

But it’s been hardcore stress for this first 20% and I love it.

Chapters 1-4:

No time skip? A straight continuation from the last book.
What have I done to be treated so well 🥹🥹
