It took about a third of the book to finaly get an inkling of the plot. Then I thought this is a fairly boring book, but now things are starting to heat up as the protagonists are trying to solve a mystery.

Really different kind of story for Neal Stephenson. Very limited setting and for Stephenson limited set of characters, but so far I like it.

In typical Neal Stephenson fashion it takes a few chapters to begin to piece together the world he has created for his readers. I'm beginning to feel comfortable and enjoy this story line.
