When Frank Edison was 11, he created to popsicle. One day he left a powdered soda drink with a wooden stick in it out in the cold. The next day he used the stick as a handle and poof! The popsicle was created.

Believe it or not, but scientist have now created glow-in-the-dark pets! Originally they would take the glow-in-the-dark gene, found in jellyfish, and injected it into fish, to track their migration. Now they have moved onto cuddly animals such as dogs,cats,and rabbits.

The most popular love story is that of Micheal and Ashley. They met through friends and were immediately attracted to each other. To no ones surprise thief first date was at Starbucks. They made the relationship official after seven dates, and traded apartment keys seven dates after that. They got married 2.8 years later.

A planet made completely out of diamonds, called the 55 Cancri e, was discovered in 2004. This planet is twice as large as earth, but it is eight times as heavy!

The Chinese have interesting superstitions. For example, if you cage a turtle and keep it as a pet, it will ruin your business by slowing it down. Another superstition is that if a pregnant woman cries, their child will be a whiny mess there whole lives.

In 1988, a construction manager,named Nishimoto, in the southern town of Shibushi, Japan, told his friend how much he loved his stuffed penguin. A while later while fishing, his friend noticed a penguin who was badly injured on his back. The decided to take it back home, thinking it would die, then Nishimoto could have a stuffed penguin if his own. But Uniates of dying, Nishimoto's family nursed it back to health.

In 2001 a man named Pascal Payet was just starting his thirty year prison sentence when on OF his friends hijacked a helicopter and managed to set him free. He was recaptured two years later. Then in 2007 he managed to escape again, and this time was also by a hijacked helicopter!
