Brom is masterful. His writing is not flowery or purple but it is so vivid. Even minor characters feel alive. Every word is chosen with purpose. Brilliant.

Edward is the sweetest. Neurodivergent representation in colonial times! I also love seeing arranged couples actually like each other.
