I am fully here for Ead and Sabran, I’m literally so ready for it lmao. I love that Ead is a badass sorceress spy with her own cause. I initially didn’t like the multiple perspectives but now I’m kind of living for it? I love Niclays, and Tané (?) I like that some characters are completely against dragons like Loth and Sabran while we get characters like Tané who’ve dedicated their entire lives to dragons

i feel like all of the perspectives in this book is making it hard for me to anticipate a twist or a mystery because deadass i dont even remember half of the character's names well enough to even realize if their double crossing one another or not. pray for me.

Sabran is so cool. Love the lore. Love Ead. No complaints so far. Never read this level of high-fantasy before so sometimes the sentences that are very world-building or lore heavy feel like made up word salad, but not necessarily in a bad way.
