ofc canada is mentioned in how brutally it treated indigenous peoples esp children bc ofcccc the death rate from tuberculosis in residential schools was unprecedented in human history 😭 every time i think it cannot get worse i find out something new

idk if i’m fully grasping the material since there’s a lot of facts and i’ve been listening while driving in the rain but i really love the style and the way information is presented - if i recall i left off at the romanticism of tuberculosis and the perception of sick/dying creatives and the argument that it’s as dehumanizing as the stigmatization. cool
