Nooo this is where it all starts to deteriorate, even though I know what will happen I am still so sad

My mind is hazy, the edge of my periphery are fading out just reading what the French soldiers under the French colonial regime did to Algerians, and what they did to those in la Casbah, and what they did to Mustapha and Lyles and what Zohra had to witness. I want to vomit when I read about the torture and can only think about those who lived it

This is so good it should be made into a movie franchise or a series. Genuinely everyone interested in revolutionary resistance movements, anti-colonial stories need to read this. And it reads like a YA fast paced dystopian anti-colonial book but it actually happened,
