Mataxas was full of crap.
He wasn't some one dimensional born again ninny.
Bonhoeffer was this complicated, three dimensinal, emotional, possibly gay man who loved Germany more than anything. Loved Christ more than breathing.
And stood toe to toe with Hitler.
