Mary is having to adjust to the differences in her new home, it is very different than India. Her servant, Martha, doesn't do everything for her like her old servants in India did. She's going to have to learn how to do things by herself. At the end of my reading she had just decided to out to the gardens.

Mary got to mr. cravens house, but he had just left. She got sent up to her room and told she shouldn't leave it. She is just meeting on of the servants at the house named Martha, who is very different than the servants she had in india.

Mary got picked up in london by her uncles maid, she doesn't like the lady very much. Mrs Medlock told mary that her uncle is kind of weird and he has a huge house, but most of the rooms stay closed and he locks himself up in the west wing and doesn't see anyone.

Mary was very unpleasant to the family she was staying with. She then got sent to england to be with her uncle shes never met

Just started reading, its about a snotty/self absorbed little girl who always gets her way. But her servants and parents all die of cholera and she is left all alonel
