I think I'm gonna give up on this one. Didn't realize is was dystopian(ish) story when I picked it up. Add to that the heavy-handed "the church is EVIL" theme (which I'm not sure I disagree with, but learn some subtlety, geesh) is just too much for me. Will return book to library. Hopefully someone else will enjoy it.
