Yeah they should really change the cover art, wtf is this book.

This reads like the novelization of an anime Scott Hawkins failed to pitch to Crunchyroll.

I find it hard to believe that this group of seemingly intelligent, resourceful, and well-educated people (even in this fantasy setting) cannot figure out after six weeks how to dress like "normal people" in modern day Virginia. I kind of understand with the one who's with animals all the time and the one who's dead all the time but the rest of them have no excuse, especially not the one smoking weed.
