This book makes my anxiety go up a few notches. An African-American woman in the late 1800's passing as a white woman at Vassar. Will she be found out? At times where I think she might, I speed up and read quickly until I see she passes through that instance without being found out.....ugh. I know it means the writing is wonderful but jeez....
