Notes:
(1) The 2022 Annual's all about the Turtles recognizing they've lost their way and that they need to get back to their roots.
- They wear their classic outfits, for example. Both the multi-colored and all-red bandana versions.
- I'd like to think this is Juni Ba's indictment of the Sophie Campbell Mutant Town era of the series. That's a sentiment I definitely cosign.

Notes:
(1) Perhaps they should have led with Sophie Campbell's issues since being sandwiched in the middle really underscores how much they pale in comparison to both Juni Ba and Tom Waltz' stories.
- While this whole volume is pretty skippable, the beginning and end issues are very good one-offs.
- The Campbell ones are just about treading water until the big event begins.

Notes:
(1) I used to regularly read singles of this series right after release. This book represents when I stopped and lost interest.
- I read the first issue here, "Annual 2022," on August 26, 2022. I didn't get to reading the rest of this trade's issues until December 2024.
(2) This is one of those hodgepodge collections where you put issues that don't fit anywhere else.
