The plot is still kind of on hold. It seems as though the character is starting to have some thoughts about what he wants to do in his life though, so he will hopefully do something new soon that will get past this slower part!

Haha! I finished! Over the weekend I got a lot of reading done and finished. I thought the ending was very good and conclusive and left the reader thinking about all that had just happened. The end of this book was the kind where one just sits for a while after closing the book to digest all that happened. This book left on a bit of a cliff-hanger though, so I will be starting the next book in the series soon.

The book's plot is slowing down a little right now. It's going to be slightly difficult to keep reading compared to what I just read, but I really want to finish. I can't wait to find out what's going to happen after this little transition section.

Wow! This book is getting better. Right now there are a lot of mini-stories happening all at once and a lot of them have action in them. This makes this book even more interesting to read now.

The emotion that the characters are already feeling in the book makes me keep reading. When one of the boys thinks he likes a girl, he realizes that she is not kind and is rather fake. She was one of the few people who was in this boys life, yet when he realized she was fake, his heart was broken.

This book continues to hold my interest. Today, I read a description that enhanced my reading. The passage was "a scatter of brazen feather, red winking. A gold eye set in a pear-shaped skull" (22). This was very descriptive and gave me a nice image. I also like the use of color to illustrate the bird. Besides that, the plot is being set up and makes me want to keep reading.

Today, I just started this book. I'm really excited because I read Wicked (first book in the series), so I'm hoping this will be as good. It started off with some action that relates to the first book (Wicked) so I want to keep reading to find out what is going to happen. It is also nice because it is kind of reviewing some things that happened in the first book.
